This bold summer wedding took place at two London wedding venues, one of them being the unique Garden Museum. The couple’s love of pink, red, and the natural world inspired the design for the ceremony and beyond.
When Mia & Ed first got in touch, I knew we'd create nothing but ‘fun’ together — and that there will be a certain easiness to the day day, which I always adore.
The day began with a touching symbolic ceremony conducted by the groom's mum. Signage and stationery designed by a close friend, along with a song composed by the groom and performed by another friend made the day deeply personal.
Much loved pinks, reds and lively little details couldn’t be avoided – all in keeping with the couple’s life together.
The celebration flowed seamlessly into a reception in Brixton, where an all-vegan menu and carefully curated wine and drinks list brought smiles to people’s faces – it was delicious! And why settle for one cake when you can have two? Mia & Ed called it the ‘cake competition’ — Pavlova vs Victoria Sponge, Australia vs UK, Mia vs Ed. All complete with a friend made cake topper featuring heir darling cat.
Our handsome soul and funk band finished off the evening in pink style, along with bespoke signature cocktails. The ‘moodily’ lit dance floor was never not full, just how we like it.
