I just adore planning multi-day weekend weddings in London and the UK. In fact, most of my UK destination weddings include at least two events, with many of my couples planning with me from their homes in either the US or Canada.
If you’re dreaming of a multi-day celebration outside the UK, I also offer destination wedding planning across Europe, bringing the same level of care, creativity, and precision to celebrations in heart warming locations across the continent.
With couples and guests often travelling from all over the world, a UK destination wedding lends itself perfectly to a three-day wedding weekend, or even longer. Spreading the festivities over two, three, or four days allows everyone to adjust post-travel, take it all in without a rush, and connect with new and old faces, whilst surrounded by the most beautiful of settings
Weekend Wedding Itinerary
For a three-day wedding, we tend to plan a rehearsal dinner for close friends and family at an artful restaurant or private estate on day one, offering a relaxing and intimate way into what is to come.
Day two tends to see a welcome night for all guests, and for this, we love a chic London or country pub, unique bar, garden or boutique hotel. Either way, think light-heartedness and live entertainment, accompanied by beautifully arranged finger food – all served to guests along with the finest drink and signature cocktails.
Day three, of course, sees the wedding day with a gorgeous plan and design of its own, sometimes followed by a farewell brunch on the morning of day four.
Planning your Weekend Wedding
With multi-day weddings being a wonderfully complex affair, often requiring between 400–700 hours of planning, there is nothing closer to my heart than good collaboration and creative alignment. I firmly believe that the best events and experiences happen when both are present.
To get to know each other a little, we will start with an informal video call or in person meeting, where we can go over any questions you might have and you can tell me all about your hopes and wishes for your weekend wedding in London or elsewhere in the UK.
Following this initial time together, I will create a personal proposal based on what you have shared with me. This will include a thorough breakdown of how we will bring everything to life together, along with a guide budget allocation, making this stage of the planning as clear and transparent for you as possible.
When we begin working together, we will go on a deeply personal journey. We’ll start with planning the best flow for your events and wedding day, followed by a period of venue searching and visits.
Once the venues are appointed, we will plan out guest hotels and transportation, and appoint all other suppliers involved – from the finest food and drink to entertainment, bespoke lighting, production, flowers and design details.
